Calling all Democrats- Campaign Institute Days Away!

We are putting the final touches on our upcoming Democratic Campaign Institute to be held March 4th and 5th in Worcester. We still have some spaces available for interested Democrats, but time is running out.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the DCI, it's a two-day seminar that teachers you everything you need to know to run and WIN a successful campaign. The seminar follows three tracks- one for candidates, one for campaigns and campaign management and staff, and one for field and volunteers. The sessions are taught by experienced political strategists and current political leaders and are a great way to meet new people.
Sessions include: Campaign Planning and Organization,Message Development,Time Management, and Politics on the Web (which includes a session presented by the noteworthy Blue Mass Group bloggers), among others.
If you're interested you can sign up here or contact David Howard at 617-776-2676.
Thanks and I look forward to meeting many of you there.

How NOT to run a campaign! Have you seen the latest from the Reilly Web site? It reads like the Polit Bureau in the former Soviet Union could have written it.

Calling him a true partner and the best candidate to “get Massachusetts moving again,” the mayors of Medford, Weymouth, and Methuen endorsed Attorney General Tom Reilly for Governor at campaign stops this week. Reilly received the endorsements as he traveled to each community over a three-day swing, visiting with local residents and sharing his vision for the state. On Tuesday, Reilly met with customers at the Paul Revere Restaurant in Medford and was endorsed by Mayor Michael McGlynn. On Wednesday, Reilly stopped at the Euro Trattoria in Weymouth, receiving the endorsement of Mayor David Madden. On Thursday, Reilly was endorsed by Mayor William Manzi at an event at Shadi’s Restaurant in Methuen.
“I have great respect for the work these mayors do every day and am grateful for their support,” Reilly said. “I am running to give ordinary people throughout this state a voice in government again - to listen to their concerns and then get things done that matter in their lives. That’s what I’ve done my entire career, and it’s what I am going to do as Governor.”

Note to Tom Reilly: Get some new PR people in a hurry.
